Four decades ago a young couple started an art collection. Over the years, historical objects preserving the African American story were added. Today the Kinsey Collection is one of the most impressive personal art collections in the world. Their son, Khalil, is the curator. He talks with TheVillage about exhibit millions know as the “African American Treasures of the Kinsey Collection”.
