Arkansas Sheriff Who Approved Netflix Series Says He Stayed ‘In His Lane’
It’s a new idea in law enforcement: allowing unguarded inmates to govern themselves. The Netflix series, “Unlocked: A Jail Experiment,” follows 46 inmates in Little Rock, Arkansas, at the county detention facility. Pulaski County Sheriff Eric Higgins came under fire for allowing cameras into the facility to film the series, but he told The Village Celebration that the series accomplished what he had hoped it would.
