Essence Fest Block Party 2012
The memories from Essence Festival 2012 are still fresh for those who attended the annual four-day event of entertainment, empowerment, and culture in New Orleans. D’Angelo wowed the crowd with another performance that signaled a strong career revival. And, organizers capped the fun with a block party. Although the party tent is packed away until next year, TheVillage snapped a few shots to hold you ’til the Big Easy hangs out the welcome sign again.
