Thousands turned out for Pine Bluff’s first Forward Fest 2018 featuring vendors, food trucks, and entertainment.
“There were people of all ages in attendance,” said Eva Belle, an instructor at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. “It was just what Pine Bluff needed.”
Singer Angie Stone headlined the entertainment which also included Big Robb, Sean Chambers, who are also national artists, along with Dave Sandler, a local talent.
The fun started around noon on Saturday and lasted until almost midnight.
State Representative Vivian Flowers said, “Forward Fest 2018” was so fun and a great success. The vibe, the crowd, the music and the energy were perfectly reflective of Pine Bluff’s vibrant spirt, rich culture, and resilient people.”
Forward Fest 2018 is part of the Go Forward Pine Bluff effort which is a citywide campaign to “make Pine Bluff a city its residents are proud to call home” according to the organization’s website.
