George Zimmerman Trial,spirituality
Testimony: Day 9
Two mothers took the stand in the George Zimmerman trial today, and each identified the voice screaming for “help” in the 911 call as that of her son. Sybrina Fulton said the screams came from her son, “Trayvon Benjamin Martin.” When defense attorney, Mark O’Mara, asked if she could be certain, she replied, “Absolutely!”
The defense began its case by calling Gladys Zimmerman as its first witness. George Zimmerman’s mother responded that the screams were from “my son, George.”
It was a pivotal point in the courtroom. Judge Debra Nelson denied a defense request for acquittal. And, the prosecution rested its case.
